Great Forest Challenge- VIRSIX at the Great Wolf Lodge

Many thanks to Eric Gradman and Christian Chaudhari at VIRSIX for having me to up to light the new Great Forest Challenge at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound WA.   Its an innovative and immersive take on the themed attraction- a sort of walking dark ride crossed with a full scale life-sized video game that was great fun to do.    I hope it’s a much of a success as it appears to be!      Congrats, all!

Downtown Social Hour @ Abundant Sugar

An intimate evening of amazing performance, specialty cocktails, music and wonderful socializing in a unique downtown venue.

Underground but way above average… The  new speakeasy.

This is a Private Event.  8 Performances are scattered about the evening and include Singing, Comedy, Aerial, Burlesque,and Dance. THERE IS NUDITY.  No photography of the performances.

DJ: Pumpkin will be hard at work between acts and after the show so you can take to the floor. Attire:….what does one wear to socialize? Casual? Evening? …Bear Suit? Cash Bar: Beer, Wine, Cocktails, and Specialty Drinks created by Cynthia Washburn Ticketing: $20 online. Ticket sales close 2 hours before doors. The Padua Playwrights presents The Neo-Sacred Revival at ARTSHARE LA

This show was a real treat to design- the pictures don’t do this show justice at all.

The premise of this show was to have 9 artists have their artwork or sculptures be the source of inspiration for 9 short one act plays.   We instituted a rhythm where each art piece would be showcased as a cue its own, allowing people to take in a consider the piece before fading into the scene written about it.

I found the relationship unfolding onstage to be enjoyable on many many levels and I do hope that Padua returns to this multi-playwright/ multi- artist concept soon.

A Thousand Words- Padua Playwrights at ARTSHARE LA

Previews take place June 6th, 7th and 8th. The show opens Friday, June 13th, and continues through June 29th. Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 7pm. General admission tickets are $20, with preview tickets only $15.
